Fritz Aquatics Mardel Parashield Water Additive is a solution of natural oils and extracts that help to treat parasitic infections, like ick, as well as repairing and strengthening your fishs natural slime coat. The slime coat is the first line of defense for a fish against infections. Consult a veterinarian or fish expert for assistance in diagnosis of disease causing organisms and treatment options. Do not exceed recommended dosage. This product may slow biological filtration. During use some sessile invertebrates will retract for the first several hours. This condition will be temporary and may last for up to 24 hours. Tested on Stone Polyp, Brain Favites, Mushroom (Rhodactis), Ricordea Spp., Favia Fragum, Plate Coral Spp., Tubastraea Spp., Knobby Leather Spp., Acropora Spp., Finger Coral (Porites) species.
